Q  What is the RBO Network

A The RBO Network is a vacation rentals directory on the internet. We give vacation rental owners the opportunity to put their rental on the internet for the entire world to see. Prospective renters can make a request to rent a vacation property online. The request is emailed to the vacation rental property owner. The rental owner then takes the rental request and communicates with the renter ideally to result in a booking. 

Q What makes RBO Network different from all the other vacation rental websites online?

A Your vacation rental is displayed on a website specifically dedicated to your vacation destination. For example, if you have a vacation rental in Gatlinburg, you will be listed on our website www.gatlinburgrentalsnetwork.com This area specific approach allows us to position our websites to be seen by people searching the internet for the area where your rental is located. The Gatlinburg example above is just one example. The RBO Network researched popular travel destinations and currently has hundreds of websites dedicated to specific vacation destinations.

Q  What are the benefits to listing your rental with the RBO Network?

A  There are many benefits to use the RBO Network. The primary benefit is that your rental income will increase thus increasing your cash flow.  Another important benefit is that your rental will be seen by its target market of renters. Each RBO Network website advertises specifically to your rental destination location. This helps ensure that we are best positioned for your rental to be seen by people actually searching for the location of your rental. Additional benefits to you, you may create a continual pool of renters for your property.  What does this mean?  When your rental is occupied, and the occupant is satisfied, it is likely that on their return to the destination where your rental is located, your rental is requested by that occupant again.  This is key because one repeat loyal renter gained yearly, can pay for the cost of your listing themselves by continuing to return to your unit. 

Q  In what order do the listings show up on the view listings page?

A  By the TYPE of listing package you purchased, GOLD or the free listing. The GOLD listing gives the owner the highest level of exposure possible, and the most feature rich listing available with up to 24 photos. Gold listing packages are ALWAYS displayed above all Free listing packages in the search results.

Q  How do the listings rotate within their levels?

A  All GOLD listing will rotate positions as different people visit the site. One visit may find your GOLD listing at the top of the search results and then your listing could be later seen in position 2 by a new visitor. All GOLD listings are always positioned above free listings and rotate within their level position. All Free listings follow the same rotation logic but will never be seen above a GOLD listing in search results.

Q What are the benefits of a Gold listing vs. a Free listing?

Q How do I qualify for a free listing?

A It is easy, if you have a personal website for your vacation rental, all you have to do is link to us. Free listings are only available to those who can link their website to us. During your listing set-up process, we walk you through the very simple process to link to us. There is NO computer knowledge needed to link to us. A free listing is NOT available unless you link to us.

Q  How do I get started with adding my listing

A  Adding your listing is very simple, visit the add your rental button in the top right hand corner of the home page. We even offer FREE operator assisted set-up!

Q  Can a prospective renter request to stay in my rental once they see it?

A  Yes, an availability request button is included in all listing plans. A prospective renter can click the availability request button and fill out the intended details of their trip and click submit. This information is now e-mailed to the rental property owner to finalize at the owners discretion.

Q  What do plans cost?

A  For as little as .27 cents per day you can have a listing on RBO Network. 

Q Are there any additional or hidden costs?

A No! Your one time fee covers your listing for 12 months. RBO Network does not collect any additional money from either the property owner or the renter.

Q Is RBO Network a property management company?

A No, RBO Network is only an online directory of vacation rentals. We allow owners the ability to display their rental online, so that renters can find owners on the internet and potentially book their rental through them, the owner.

Q  When I list, do I receive any sort of feedback on how effective my listing is?

A  Yes, RBO Network provides a report to paid Gold listing owners that can assist in the owner reviewing activity on their listing.

Q  Can I manage or edit my listing once I place it?

A  Yes, every owner who lists on RBO Network receives a unique log in and password.  This allows an owner the ability to edit their listing(s) description, pictures, amenities, rates etc any time day or night... You can also call us and we can help.
